Privacy Policy

Account information. We use Clerk to handle sign-up, login, and sessions. Clerk collects and stores your name, email address, and authentication credentials on our behalf; we never see or store your password. See Clerk’s privacy policy for how they handle that data.

Profile information. Anything you add to your profile: bio, sex, age, height, activity level, and a profile photo. If you upload a photo, it’s stored directly in our database as part of your account record — we don’t send it to a third-party image host.

Health and fitness data you log. Daily check-ins you create are the core of the app: weight, body fat percentage, steps, sleep, water intake, calories and macros, whether you trained, mood, and any notes you write. This is sensitive information — only enter what you’re comfortable sharing with your community (see Section 2).

Community content. Communities you create or join, invite codes, macro plans and workout routines (including ones other members build and assign to you), and daily challenges and your completions of them.

What we don’t collect. ThiccClub doesn’t run analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts of any kind. Aside from the session cookie Clerk sets to keep you signed in, the only thing we store in your browser is a couple of small display preferences (theme, and whether you view weight/height in metric or imperial) — kept locally on your device, never sent to us.

ThiccClub is built around shared accountability, so some of your data is visible to other people by design:

• Members of a community you belong to can see your daily check-ins and progress charts on your member page.
• Any member of your community can create a macro plan or workout routine and assign it to the whole group or to you specifically — and can see plans assigned to them the same way.
• Your name, profile photo, and bio are visible to anyone in a community you’ve joined.

We do not sell your information, and we don’t share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of ThiccClub, our users, or others.

• To provide the core features of the app: check-ins, progress charts, coaching plans, and challenges.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the service.

We keep your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. If you’d like your account and associated data deleted, contact us (Section 7) and we’ll remove it, other than what we’re required to keep for legal or security reasons.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit and restricting access to our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

ThiccClub is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

You can update most of your profile information anytime from your account page. Leaving a community stops other members from seeing your future check-ins there. For anything else — correcting, exporting, or deleting your data, or questions about this policy — email us at [email protected].

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
